The Board is made up of dedicated parents, staff members, and community representatives who work in partnership with the Principal to ensure the best outcomes for all students.
The role of the School Board includes:
Contributing to the development and review of the school’s Business Plan and policies
Monitoring the school's performance and progress towards goals
Promoting the school within the wider community
Providing advice on school priorities, programs, and initiatives
Supporting effective governance in line with the Department of Education guidelines
While the School Board is not involved in the day-to-day running of the school, it provides a forum for meaningful input and collaboration between families, the community, and the school leadership team.
Our Board members bring a diverse range of skills and perspectives, reflecting the strength and inclusivity of the Maidens Park community. Their shared commitment ensures our school remains a place where every child is known, valued, and supported to thrive.
We welcome the involvement of our school community and regularly seek expressions of interest from parents and carers who would like to be part of the Board. Together, we are building a strong and vibrant future for Maidens Park.
